Bio
Throughout my life, I have been fortunate enough to have had some amazing teachers - some of whom became my mentors during teacher training. I wanted to be that person for others.
Born in Canada, I attended university and completed my initial teacher training there. I achieved my QTS (UK qualification) shortly after moving to the UK in 2010.
I am qualified to teach EYFS to KS3 and have experience in all areas, working with pupils with SEND and gifted and talented learners. I have a keen interest in mathematics and working memory.

Hardworking in nature and passionate about ensuring all my pupils make good progress from their starting points. I have been assessed as having a thorough understanding of my subject areas and accurate assessment data in recent local authority and HMI inspections.

I love teaching and working with children, in particular, celebrating their achievements. Every child can succeed - you just need to present the information in a way that works for them.
